What Files are being FTP'd?Knowing what data is transmitting in and out of the Enterprise is a critical part of managing FTP usage. This information forms the basis for modifying FTP server configuration settings, setting folder and file permissions and managing user ID tables. It also provides information that can be used to identify sensitive file names to FTP/WatchDog. FTP/WatchDog's File Usage view summarizes FTP usage by file name node. It shows the number of transactions initiated by for each node of the file names accessed through the FTP server. It summarizes file activity by secured versus unsecured access.
